Rita Gribko is an Associate with the Firm. She was born in Paterson, New Jersey. She graduated from LeMoyne College with a B.A. in 1991. She graduated from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden with a J.D. in 1994. Ms. Gribko was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1994 and admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 1994.
After graduating from Rutgers University School of Law, Ms. Gribko served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Charles J. Harrington, Jr., J.S.C., in the Family Division and the Honorable Frances L. Antonin, J.S.C., in the Criminal Division in Hudson County. Ms. Gribko has served as an Assistant Hudson County Prosecutor in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, where she gained extensive experience in Criminal Litigation having been assigned to a jury trial team, as well as the domestic violence unit where she represented the State on behalf of domestic violence victims whose restraining orders were violated. As a result of this extensive experience, Ms. Gribko has successfully defended and prosecuted restraining order cases in her recent practice. Her background also includes extensive work in the area of Municipal Law wherein she served as Legal Advisor to public entities, a position which provided invaluable experience in broad and varied areas of the law. For over the past decade, Ms. Gribko’s practice has focused on Litigation including Contract Law, Construction Law and Family Law.
